As a Deputy Store Manager at Lidl, you’ll be cool, calm and collected, getting stuck in on the shop floor and behind the scenes. From managing cash processes and monitoring stock integrity to inspiring your colleagues, you’ll play a huge part in creating a place where you and your whole team can do your best work. You’ll also enjoy great responsibility while the Store Manager is absent, taking ownership of the store and leading by example to support your colleagues. Key responsibilities:

  • Set a spectacular example for the store team and customers
  • Independently manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Check and work deliveries, manage the till area and monitor KPIs
  • Be a friendly face for every customer, offering excellent service and helping with queries
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers in a friendly and open way
  • Delegate, time‑manage and solve problems efficiently
  • Support the team through every shift
