Job summary

Aldi is seeking a Deputy Store Manager to lead daily operations, deliver excellent customer service, train colleagues, and support the Store Manager in achieving KPIs. This on-site role offers a clear path to store leadership with a flexible 25–35 hour contract and a £4 per hour premium when running the store.

You’ll oversee stock, displays, safety, and cost control while inspiring the team to meet targets and maintain high standards of service across all store activities.

• Strong customer service and compliance skills.

Responsibilities

• Running the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager
• Deliver excellent customer service that goes beyond expectations
• Support the Store Manager to boost employee engagement and meet store KPIs
• Monitor product quality and manage stock rotation consistently
• Oversee till cashing up and safe deposits
• Ensure Health & Safety and due diligence standards are maintained
