Job summary

B&M Retail Limited are seeking a hands-on Deputy Store Manager for our busy Boucher Road store in the United Kingdom. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, maintain store standards and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front on customer service, store standards and colleague engagement.

We're looking for an ambitious and hands-on Deputy Store Manager to support the leadership of our Boucher Road store. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced retail supervisor, team manager or deputy manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing colleagues and is ready to build the skills needed to become a future Store Manager.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store.
• Leading by example on the shop floor and creating a positive, customer-focused culture.
• Maintaining high standards of availability, merchandising and store presentation.
• Coaching, motivating and developing colleagues to help them perform at their best.
• Taking responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Supporting stock management, compliance and health & safety processes.

You’ll Bring

• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
