A leading healthcare trust in Chertsey is seeking a motivated Deputy Charge Nurse to support the Ward Manager in delivering high-quality patient care. The role involves supervising nursing practice and leading a multidisciplinary team in a challenging environment. Suitable candidates should have trauma and orthopaedic experience and a relevant nursing qualification. The position is full-time with NHS benefits including a pension scheme and onsite facilities.
Swan Ward is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated RN to join the team as a Deputy Charge Nurse/Deputy Sister to support the Ward Manager/Sister in leading and supervising a safe, high standard of nursing practice and the delivery of evidenced based patient care in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, the Trust's Strategy for Nursing and Trust/Unit Policies and Procedures.
As a Multidisciplinary Team we are proud of our effective team-working, with Clinicians, Trauma Coordinators, Therapy team and Discharge team, working closely with our trauma and orthopaedics clinics, Heron Ward and other specialists, in addition to our nursing and multidisciplinary team support.
The successful post holder will be instrumental in working with our partners to deliver a safe experience for our patients, with fluent admission & discharge processes, always putting patients first and being a role model to the team. We are passionate about the delivery of excellent care and always encourage going the extra mile and thinking outside the box.
