Job summary

Hft, a leading social care provider, is seeking a Deputy Service Manager to support learning-disabled adults in Ryeford. You’ll work with the Service Manager to create safe, person-centred supported living services promoting independence.

You’ll lead a team and model best practice across services, delivering meaningful activities and positive outcomes. You’ll be on-call, collaborate with families and external agencies, and ensure services run smoothly while maintaining compliance and high

Qualifications

• Experience managing supported living services for learning-disabled adults.
• Hold Level 4 Lead Practitioner Diploma or be willing to undertake within a development plan.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to guide teams.

Responsibilities

• Spend at least 20% of time on shift supporting the team and mentoring colleagues.
• Lead by example with kindness, respect and person-centred values.
• Coordinate and oversee person-centred support across multiple services.
• Keep services safe, compliant and focused on positive outcomes.
• Be on-call as part of duty manager rota and support other services when needed.
