The post holder will contribute to upskilling staff, engage with parents and professionals, and commit to the National SENDCO Award within three years of appointment.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEND and knowledge of the Code of Practice.
• Strong commitment to removing barriers to learning for every child.
• Willingness to complete the National SENDCO Award within three years of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the SENDCo and lead on SEND provision across the school.
• Collaborate with staff and the Trust to support identified learners and actions.
• Work closely with parents and other professionals to ensure pupils receive needed support.
