Job summary

The Hemel Hempstead School is seeking a dedicated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. With 33.75 hours per week, term-time plus INSET, the role offers a salary of £20,846 per annum and starts October 2026 or ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead on a specific SEND area, setting targets and delivering high-quality interventions.
• Work with small groups or whole classes under the direction of the SENDCo and Deputy SENDCo.
• Support colleagues in the learning support team to ensure high-quality SEND provision and progress.
