Job summary

Mountain Healthcare Limited seeks a proactive Deputy SARC Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team, support the SARC Manager, manage day-to-day operations, budgets and governance, and drive clinical excellence in safeguarding and patient care.

You will oversee recruitment, training, rotas, appraisals, and wellbeing support, while maintaining compliance with ISO 15189 and regulator standards, and building strong external partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in a sensitive care setting.
• Proven ability to manage people, rotas, inductions and wellbeing support.
• Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities to keep the SARC running safely and to national/local standards.
• Lead recruitment, inductions, training, rotas, appraisals and wellbeing support.
• Monitor service delivery, assess performance and manage budgets.
• Act as Crisis Worker or Forensic Examiner where trained, with thorough documentation.
• Maintain safeguarding and complete audits; staff support for concerns.
• Oversee governance, incident reporting, complaints, audits and standards.
• Ensure medicines, equipment and rooms are stocked and compliant.
• Foster relationships with commissioners, police and partner agencies.
• Lead local operational meetings and contribute to service development.
• Manage confidential information and forensic samples per standards.
• Support business planning, outreach and quality improvement projects.
