Job summary

Oxygen is seeking a Deputy Park Manager to lead a motivated team in delivering exceptional guest experiences and events. You will role-model proactive problem-solving, coach junior managers, and drive commercial and creative initiatives while ensuring compliance with health & safety and industry guidance.

You will collaborate with the Park Manager to develop talent, manage resources, and maintain a high-energy, service-led culture across operations and guest services.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership roles with team development and succession planning.
• Experience with workforce management and labour control.
• Ability to analyse financial data and KPIs to drive performance.
• Proven capability to manage a large team in a hospitality/leisure setting.
• Knowledge of welfare and EDI in the workplace.

The Deputy Park Manager will develop, lead and empower your highly motivated and talented team, to deliver our four values; pride, passion, playing together and moments of WOW-ness.

You will support the Park Manager to coach and develop both your management andteam to be able to deliver exceptional guest experience while planning for future succession. Skills and experience:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership role
• Workforcemanagement and labour control experience
• Experience with financial data and KPI management
• Experience of managing and leading a large team
• Working knowledge of welfare and EDI in the workplace
• Excellent customer service and engagement skills
• Proven experience coaching and training team members
• Experience in running and delivering events successfully
• Knowledge of industry H&S standards and compliance
• Hospitality/ Leisure/ Events experience
• Tech savvy
• Working knowledge of the core Microsoft applications
• A background in a service-led industry is desirable, such as adventure parks, family leisure entertainment parks etc.
• IOSH qualification desirable
• First aid qualification desirable
• Alcohol license desirable
