Job summary

First Recruitment Group is seeking an Offshore Wind Deputy Completion Manager for a contract role in Lowestoft, UK. You will support the Completion Manager in overseeing completion, commissioning and handover activities across major assets, ensuring safety, schedule and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in offshore wind or similar large-scale projects, with strong stakeholder management and CMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Marine or similar) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in offshore wind, oil & gas or large infrastructure project completion and commissioning.
• Experience on UK-based offshore or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of UK CDM Regulations and offshore construction standards.
• Proficiency in Completion Management Systems (PIMS, MCPlus, GoCompletions).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise deliverables.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support the Completion Manager in overseeing completion, commissioning and handover across major assets.
• Ensure systems and work packages are delivered safely, on schedule and compliant.
• Drive quality, safety and operational readiness during completion and commissioning.
• Facilitate successful system handover to operations teams.
• Support management of completion processes, documentation and stakeholder coordination.
• Lead mechanical completion and commissioning activities across major assets.
• Manage CMS implementation, status reporting, document control and punch lists.
• Coordinate with contractors, commissioning teams and stakeholders to maintain progress.
• Monitor milestones and resolve issues to prevent delays.
• Ensure compliance with UK HSE, CDM and safety plans.
