Deputy Nursing Home Manager
New Malden
£54,000 - £55,000

Purosearch are working with an award winning care provider to recruit an experienced clinical deputy manager for their 30 bed service in New Malden.

As the Deputy Nursing Home Manager, you will have a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of care and safety for all residents. You will work alongside the Nursing Home Manager in overseeing daily operations, taking the lead in clinical matters, and maintaining excellent standards in alignment with CQC regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assisting the Nursing Home Manager in daily operations and decision-making.
  2. Providing leadership and guidance to the nursing and care staff.
  3. Overseeing and ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing and personal care.
  4. Collaborating with the management team to maintain and improve CQC ratings.
  5. Conducting audits and assessments to monitor and enhance care standards.
  6. Supporting staff training and development.
  7. Addressing resident concerns and fostering a positive living environment.

Qualifications:
  1. Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN.
  2. NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification.
  3. In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
  4. Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting.
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
