Job summary

Storal seeks a Deputy Manager at Wragby Road Nursery School in Lincoln to uphold high standards of childcare and early years education. You will lead the team, shape culture, and ensure delivery of exceptional learning experiences for children and families.

The role requires EYFS knowledge, solid managerial experience in a nursery setting, and excellent communication with children and adults. This full-time position offers a welcoming, family-focused environment and opportunities for staff

Qualifications

• A full and relevant Early Years Education qualification Level 3 or above or equivalent.
• Experience in a managerial role including nursery administration or similar.
• Strong knowledge and understanding EYFS framework.
• Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together and experienced in providing staff training and support.
• Demonstrable leadership qualities (ideally within Early Years).
• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.

Hours:Monday - Friday, Full time 40 hour Maternity Cover
Salary:£15per hour, Salary will depend on experience and qualifications.

With 28 years of experience in early years education and an NNEB qualification, I began my journey as a Nursery Nurse and have since had the privilege of working with children of all ages—from newborns upwards.

I’m incredibly proud to lead a passionate and dedicated team who go above and beyond each day to support every child’s growth, development, and happiness.

How you’ll spend your time here

Day to day as a Deputy Manager you will be an intrinsic part of the Nurseries success ensuring the setting has the right team, culture, policies and resources to deliver the highest possible standards of childcare and early years education.

You’ll offer solutions where you identify areas for improvements whether that relates to learning and teaching techniques or, creating more stimulating experiences and environments for the children and their educators. You will embrace inclusivity to ensure the individual needs of all those within your care are achieved.
