CS UK Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a Deputy Home Manager for a care home in the Woolverstone, Ipswich area. The role requires an active NMC pin and a track record in nursing leadership within dementia care environments.

You will deputise for the Home Manager, lead nursing and care teams, and oversee high quality clinical governance and care planning. The role is full-time, 40 hours, with a competitive GBP salary and DBS costs coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with current active NMC pin.
• Previous Deputy Home Manager experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of CQC standards.

Responsibilities

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Woolverstone, Ipswich area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin

As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, you will provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care
• You will be the homes nurse expert and your role will be a combination of utilising your nursing skills as well as your managerial and leadership skills
• You will focus on residents with complex needs, so it’s vital that you can conform with the latest guidelines, take far-reaching decisions and maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures
• Care plan development and assessments
• Look after all our residents alongside the team and offer personalised centred care

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Previous Deputy Home Manager experience
• The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
• Good working knowledge of CQC standards
• The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams
• Good clinical skills
• Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £47,000 - £50,000 per annum - Pay frequency is . This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 40 hours a week working through days from 9am-5pm.
