Job summary

Banana Moon Day Nurseries seeks a dedicated Deputy Manager for a part-time role (three days per week) to support the Nursery Manager in operations and lead a passionate team delivering high-quality care and education.

You will implement EYFS-aligned programs, oversee staff development, engage with families, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering a nurturing, collaborative environment for children.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a deputy or similar role within an early years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Current DBS check and relevant training certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager in day-to-day operations and management.
• Ensure the nursery operates in compliance with all regulations and best practices.

Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team on a part-time basis, working three days a week. As our Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of the nursery, delivering high-quality care and education to our children.

In this position, you will assist the Nursery Manager in the operations of the nursery, lead a passionate team, and help foster a nurturing, stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your leadership will ensure that our educational programs are effectively implemented while cultivating strong relationships with families and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Nursery Manager in day-to-day operations and management.
• Ensure the nursery operates in compliance with all regulations and best practices.
• Lead and support the nursery team, overseeing their professional development.
