Job summary

Lifeways Group is seeking a Deputy Manager for Moor House in Bolton to support the Service Manager in delivering exceptional, person-centred care. You will help residents live independently and manage the day-to-day care and operations of a 16-apartment service with 24-hour support.

The role involves working a management rota, including days, evenings, and some weekends, with cover during annual leave and staffing shortages. A driver is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (Level 5 desirable or in progress).
• Proven experience in team leadership and operational management.
• Passion for delivering outstanding care and leading by example.

Job description

We're looking for an inspiring Deputy Manager to join our service in Bolton, Red Lion Apartments is a development of 16 high quality self-contained apartments in Westhoughton that provides accommodation and 24 hour support for people with complex mental health needs. As Deputy Manager, you'll support the Service Manager to ensure exceptional, person-centred care is delivered to the people living here, enabling them to live independently while receiving the exact package of recovery support that they need. Here, residents enjoy both vibrant community connections and the independence of their own space - and you'll play a vital role in making that possible. A driver would be ideal for this role, however there are good transport links for non-drivers. Working Pattern As Deputy Manager, you will be part of the management rota, including day and evening shifts and approximately 1 in 3 weekends. You will also provide management cover during annual leave and support the service where required to cover sickness absence or unforeseen staffing issues. In this role, you will:
