Job summary

Greensleeves Care is seeking a Deputy Home Manager to lead and oversee daily care operations at our England-based homes. You will ensure high-quality care, support staffing, manage resources, and step in when the Home Manager is unavailable.

You will supervise staff, maintain CQC standards, and drive staff development and resident engagement through meetings and training. UK-based applicants only are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in a care home.
• Excellent knowledge of CQC standards.
• Understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory framework for elder care.
• Strong communication and administration skills with ability to prioritise.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards of care are delivered and continuously monitored.
• Assist with staffing, finances and resources; participate in recruitment.
• Take responsibility for running the Home in the Home Manager's absence.
• Lead staff and resident meetings and drive training and development.

As a Deputy Home Manager, you will;

• Ensure that high standards of care are delivered to meet the needs of the individual resident, monitoring and maintaining these standards;
• Assist with the management of the Homes staffing, financial and material resources, including involvement in staff recruitment and selection
• Taking responsibility for the running of the Home in the absence of the Home Manager
• Leading and facilitating in staff and residents meetings, staff training and development activities

To apply, you will have;

• Nursing qualification and current PIN Number.
• Relevant experience of working and supervising staff within a care home
• Excellent knowledge of the CQC standards
• Working knowledge of Legislation and the Regulatory Framework underpinning practice in relation to the care of older people
• Excellent communication and administration skills along with the ability to prioritise and cope with a busy and varied workloa
