Job summary

Jarrodean Healthcare Recruitment is seeking an experienced Care Coordinator to step into a Deputy Manager role for a Complex Health & Social Care service based in Bristol. The post leads clinical governance-driven care across client homes and community settings, under senior clinicians, with good staffing and on-call duties.

The role requires knowledge of CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act 2008, with a flexible approach and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and improvement of complex care services.
• Lead day-to-day operations to ensure safe, effective, responsive, and well-led care.
• Respond to short-notice staffing changes.
• Liaise with clinicians, commissioners, families, MDTs and other stakeholders.
• Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager.
• Take part in the on-call rota.

Applications are invited from experienced Care Coordinators seeking to take the next step as Deputy Manager of our clients Complex Health & Social Care service based in Bristol.

With high standards of clinical governance, this is a Complex Care organisation clinically led by both senior Mental Health and General Nurses. Their collective experience in complex physical and mental health care means they can work with clients who have very complex needs, providing highly personalised, client-centred care in their own homes or community settings. Rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (England) and registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales, you will join an experienced and stable team of committed staff, supported by senior clinicians to meet our clients’ evolving needs.

Reporting to the Registered Manager, you will

• Support the delivery, monitoring and continuous improvement of the complex care services

Person requirements

• At least 12 months Care Coordinator experience
• A knowledge of CQC regulations, and the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014
• Personal qualities to include; flexible, adaptable, confident to work without supervision and calm under pressure.
• A current driving licence and access to a vehicle
• A commitment to a flexible approach to meet the needs of the service.
• The desire to work as part of a team and an organisation committed to person-centred care.
• At least 12 months right to work in the UK
