Job summary

Sanctuary Group, through Sanctuary Care, is seeking a Deputy Manager for The Meadows Nursing Home in The Meadows, Dornoch, Sutherland IV25 3SF. The role focuses on supporting the Home Manager, delivering high-quality care, and building strong relationships with residents and families.

The successful candidate will have nursing leadership experience, hold an active NMC PIN, and demonstrate a calm, people-focused leadership style in a busy care environment.

Your role

• Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
• Lead and guide colleagues to deliver personalised, high-quality care
• Build trusted relationships with residents, families and colleagues
• Take an active role in social and leisure activities that enrich daily life
• Help shape a kind, positive and supportive culture across the home
• Clinical experience in a nursing setting
• Valid NMC PIN
• Supportive leadership style that brings out the best in others
• Warm, approachable and able to build strong relationships
• Confidence working as part of a team in a busy care environment
• Full driving licence, with access to a vehicle desirable
