Job summary

Aldi is seeking a Deputy Store Manager in St. Ives to lead the team when the Store Manager is absent and to drive sales and customer satisfaction on a part-time basis. You’ll train staff, check displays and help achieve store KPIs.

The role offers a premium £4 per hour when running the store, with a flexible 25–35 hour week and 28 days leave including bank holidays. Training and development opportunities are provided by Aldi.

As a Deputy Store Manager at Aldi, you’ll take pride in driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, minimising costs, and improving operational efficiency. You’ll support the Store Manager by training colleagues, checking displays, and achieving sales targets. This role offers real responsibility and is the perfect stepping stone for experienced team leaders on their journey towards a store management role.

Key Responsibilities

• Running the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager

• Monitor product quality and manage stock rotation consistently

Skills & Experience

• Experience managing teams in fast-paced, customer-focused environments
• Skilled in time management and cost control
• Motivated to achieve and exceed targets consistently
• Strong customer service and compliance skills
• Previous Store Management experience is a plus but not essential
