Job summary

Hickory's Smokehouse in Shrewsbury is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead one of our key departments. You will drive standards, mentor shift teams and support the restaurant's busy service with a hands-on approach to BBQ, guest experience, and culture.

As Head of Department, you will be accountable for either Bar, Restaurant, or Team operations and will champion our values while delivering an authentic fresh-food menu. A generous package and award-winning training await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management or supervisory roles.
• Proven ability to lead teams and maintain service standards.
• Ability to manage and deliver a busy guest-facing operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a department (Bar, Restaurant or Team).
• Uphold Hickory's culture, standards and guest experience.
• Support service delivery and operational efficiency during busy periods.

As a Deputy Manager you will be a Head of Department, and fully accountable for either the Bar, Restaurant or Team.
