Job description
Overview

Job Title: Deputy Manager – Location: Salisbury. This advert is for two separate homes: Home 1: 2-Bed Home (CSE/Female); Home 2: Solo Home with dual statement of purpose. Salary: up to £35,661 (Base) + £50 per sleep (1-2 sleeps per week) bringing the salary up to £40,811. Working Hours: 39 hours per week (Flexible, including weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-in duties). Holidays: 22 days + 8 bank holidays. Shifts: 80% Proactive / 20% Managerial. Number of Sleeps Required: 1-2 per week. Pay Per Sleep: £50. Service: Children’s Home. Employment Type: Permanent.

Current Requirements

We are looking for two Deputy Managers for our children’s homes in Salisbury. One role will be based in a solo children's home, and the other in a two-bed home for females at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE).

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support teams in Salisbury for two homes: one solo children’s home and one two-bed home focused on female children at risk of CSE.
  • Lead the care and management of children aged 7-12, applying trauma-informed care approaches.
  • Maintain an 80% focus on proactive care and 20% managerial responsibilities.
  • Ensure experience in trauma and attachment-based care is applied to daily practice.
