We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in Liverpool. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Manager in the day‑to‑day operations of our domiciliary care services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in care management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing high‑quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Manager in the overall management and supervision of the care team
  • Ensure that all care services are delivered in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of care staff
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and support to staff
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of care provided, identifying any areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including care plans, risk assessments, and staff schedules
  • Liaise with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that their care needs are being met
  • Participate in on‑call duties as required
  • Support the Manager in budget management and ensure that all financial targets are met
  • Promote a positive and inclusive working environment for all staff
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a care management role
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, such as CQC standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software
  • Flexible to work on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends
  • Must have UK driving licence
