Job summary

Voyage Care in Reading is seeking a Residential Deputy Manager to lead our supported living services and drive person-centred care plans. You will oversee a team, support individuals to gain independence, and manage day-to-day operations with a focus on quality outcomes.

The role requires care assessments, staff recruitment and supervision, medication competence and audits, and participation in multidisciplinary meetings. An on-call rota is included per service needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care management role.
• Experience working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing person centred support plans.
• Conducting care needs assessments, recruiting, and inducting new colleagues and completing supervisions/appraisals.
• Completing medication competencies and medication audits.
• Attending multi-disciplinary meetings, completing reports and assisting the Registered Manager in day-to-day management.

Residential Deputy Manager – Reading - £30,000 per annum

We are looking for a Deputy Manager with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Deputy Manager to join us in leading our supported living services / DCA Office in Reading. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

Our Deputy Service Managers will be responsible for managing a team of colleagues with the purpose of helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives.

No day is ever the same, Some of the things you would be doing ;

• Developing and implementing person centred support plans
• Conducting care needs assessments, recruiting, and inducting new colleagues and completing supervisions/appraisals.
• Completing medication competencies and medication audits,
• Attending mutli-disciplinary meetings, completing reports and generally assisting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of our community service.

You will also take part in the on-call rota (although this may be subject to change depending on the needs of the service).
