Job summary

Sgscare is seeking an experienced Deputy Home Manager for a Children’s Home in Littleover, Derby. This permanent, full-time role offers £38,250–£42,000 per annum, depending on qualifications.

You will support the Registered Manager, lead shifts, manage budgets, plan placements, and run risk assessments to ensure high standards of care for young people with EBD and trauma. A NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and Young People’s Workforce is required, with prior Ofsted Registered Children's Home

You will be responsible for budget management, placement planning, risk assessments, and ensuring the highest standards of care. You must be committed to safeguarding, promoting the welfare of children, and ensuring their needs are met in a nurturing and supportive environment. You will also be expected to challenge discrimination and ensure the home aligns with the ethos of care plans.
