Deputy Headteacher (Quality of Education)

Join us to apply for the Deputy Headteacher (Quality of Education) role at Oxford Outcomes.

Location: Norton College, Tewkesbury, GL20 8UQ

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum depending on experience (not pro rata)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.00pm

Contract: Permanent, Term time only

About The Role

The post holder will support the Headteacher with the leadership and management of the school to promote effective education and care, contributing to the learning, personal development, and well-being of all students. You will be an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), discharging individual responsibilities to a high standard and supporting team efforts.

Working closely with the Headteacher, SLT, and colleagues to ensure compliance with statutory regulations. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, reviewing, and developing the school curriculum to meet individual learning needs, reflect national standards, and legal requirements, fostering participation and achievement, and ensuring continuous improvement based on self-evaluation and external benchmarks.

You will also be responsible for appointing, developing, and organizing teaching and support staff to ensure effective curriculum delivery and pupil support, liaising with Departmental Heads to integrate the whole school program with other learning and therapeutic provisions.
