We're working on behalf of a wonderful independent specialist school that is looking for a Deputy Headteacher to join the team as soon as possible. Most staff supporting the school over the years wish to stay long-term.

The work at the school is varied and challenging. As a trauma and attachment-informed school, all staff receive extensive therapeutic training and support.

The role

The Deputy Headteacher will work closely with the Head Teacher to improve the school and its practices. The role is 50% teaching (preferably Maths) and 50% leadership responsibilities, with strong support provided.

Requirements include QTS, the ability to teach to GCSE level in a subject specialism, and experience teaching SEMH students. The school welcomes applications from a range of candidates.
