About Tadley Court School

Our school, rated Good with Outstanding features by Ofsted, is situated in a beautiful semi-rural setting with four acres of grounds. We cater to children and young people aged 4 to 19 with Autism, SLD, or MLD. We pride ourselves on career progression opportunities and a family-oriented ethos. Significant developments are planned for the upcoming academic year starting September 2025.

This role may suit those experienced in mainstream primary education, as our school closely follows this model. You will lead and support colleagues to ensure high-quality education across all phases, supporting our pupils' independence and communication skills. Your passion for educating vulnerable students and making a meaningful difference is essential.

Role and Responsibilities

The Deputy Headteacher will support the Headteacher in strategic planning, managing, leading, and developing the school. Key duties include:

  • Formulating the vision, ethos, and objectives of the school
  • Leading school improvement and self-evaluation processes
  • Establishing policies for school organization and effectiveness
  • Managing staff and resources
  • Promoting an inclusive school culture
  • Leading on the Quality of Education and curriculum development
  • Motivating and working collaboratively with staff
  • Monitoring student progress and achievement
