About the role

The Deputy Head of Learning Progression will support the Head of Learning Progression in developing the overall provision within the EFI Group. They will manage the EFI Group's Learning Progression Team to support all students, including those with SEND needs or learning vulnerabilities, helping them reach their potential regardless of starting points.

The post holder will be part of the student services senior management team and will serve as one of the EFI Group's Designated Safeguarding Leads.

About you
  • Qualifications: NASENCO and Designated Safeguarding Lead qualified, or willing to pursue these supported by EFI Group and relevant professional training.
  • Experience: Experienced practitioner seeking to move into SEND management, with experience supporting pupils with SEND, making and receiving SEND referrals, and overseeing EHCPs from Consultation to Annual Review.
  • Expertise: Knowledge of SEND policies, safeguarding, wellbeing, and equality and diversity issues relevant to this role.
  • Passion: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build partnerships, foster collaboration, and a commitment to improving educational outcomes for students with SEND.

Salary:

From £46,000 to £49,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
