Leisure People is seeking a proactive Deputy General Manager for its Yeovil flagship venue. The role focuses on leading a busy customer-facing team, delivering exceptional experiences and driving commercial results under the guidance of the General Manager.

You will be responsible for coaching your management team, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring smooth operations across all areas, including busy trading periods. A defined path to General Manager awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Three years of people management experience or more.
• Experience delivering excellent customer experiences in a busy leisure/ hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership with a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Solid understanding of business performance and revenue generation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing management team with GM oversight.
• Deliver outstanding customer experiences and champion service standards.
• Drive operational excellence, cleanliness, safety and efficiency across the centre.
• Manage budgets, stock control and commercial targets to hit performance goals.
