Asda Express in Micheldever is seeking a Deputy Express Site Manager to lead day-to-day shop operations, drive sales, and develop a high-performing team. You will work closely with the Site Manager to maintain high standards and deliver excellent customer service at Asda Express in Micheldever.

This full-time permanent role involves managing rostering, stock availability, food safety compliance, and staff development, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Manage daily operation of the shop, ensuring products are available, fresh, and presented to Greggs' high standards.
• Drive sales, control costs, and maximise profitability through effective stock management and waste reduction.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company policies.
• Recruit, train, coach, and support colleagues to help them develop and succeed.
• Create staff rotas, manage labour costs, and ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the day.
• Monitor shop performance, analyse key performance indicators, and implement improvements where needed.
• Handle cash management, banking, and administrative responsibilities accurately and securely.
• Resolve customer queries professionally and promote a welcoming, customer-first culture.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised shop environment at all times.
