Job summary

King's Academy Ringmer is seeking a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to start asap. The post is 22.2 hours per week (equivalent to 3 days a week - must be a Monday and a Friday plus one other day to be agreed).

Applications are welcome promptly as the post may close early. We are looking for someone pro‑active, inclusive and a team player to support our safeguarding team and students alongside the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Qualifications

• Safeguarding experience required or preferred.
• Experience working with young people is an advantage.

• Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead in safeguarding duties.
• Collaborate with staff to promote a safe school environment.

We are looking for someone who is pro‑active, inclusive and a team player. This role is an important part of supporting our safeguarding team and students. We are looking for someone with previous safeguarding experience to work alongside our Designated Safeguarding Lead.
