Job summary

King's Academy Ringmer is seeking a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to start asap, working 22.2 hours per week (Monday and Friday plus one other day by agreement). You will support our safeguarding team and students alongside the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds, with safeguarding experience as an advantage. The role offers a supportive department, CPD opportunities, progression, and an Eco School ethos in a rural setting near Brighton.

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding roles or related settings.
• Ability to work with young people and support safeguarding team.

Job description

Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead required to start asap. 22.2 hours per week (equivalent to 3 days a week - must be a Monday and a Friday plus one other day to be agreed with the successful candidate).

We are looking for someone who is pro‑active, inclusive and a team player. This role is an important part of supporting our safeguarding team and students. We are looking for someone with previous safeguarding experience to work alongside our Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Applications are welcomed from a range of backgrounds although experience of working with young people is an advantage ie: education, social care, health and Police.
