Job summary

King's Academy Ringmer is seeking a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to start asap, working 22.2 hours per week (Monday and Friday plus one other day by agreement). You will support our safeguarding team and students alongside the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds, with safeguarding experience as an advantage. The role offers a supportive department, CPD opportunities, progression, and an Eco School ethos in a rural setting near Brighton.

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding roles or related settings.
• Ability to work with young people and support safeguarding team.
• Flexibility for part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Support safeguarding team and students as Deputy DSL.
• Work alongside Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Commit to 22.2 hours per week, including Monday and Friday.
