Job summary

King's Academy Ringmer is seeking a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to support safeguarding across the school. The role is 22.2 hours per week, roughly 3 days, requiring a Monday and Friday plus one other day by agreement.

Candidates with safeguarding experience and a pupil-centered approach are encouraged to apply. The post involves working with a proactive safeguarding team and sister leaders to ensure student welfare and safe practices within the academy.

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding within schools or youth services.
• Experience working with young people is an advantage.
• Pro-active, inclusive team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead in safeguarding duties.
• Collaborate with safeguarding team to promote pupil welfare.
• Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality in line with policy.
