We have a team of Clinical Educators supporting education in practice across the Trust at all levels, from the Care Certificate to Advanced Clinical Practice programmes.
We are seeking a motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Band 6 Deputy Clinical Educator in Milton Keynes. You will be dedicated to working with individual learners and ensuring that teams and services access the education needed to deliver evidence-based practice that meets or exceeds national standards. Your expertise will help Team Leads and Ward Managers optimize education resources to attract, recruit, and retain staff, and develop learners to provide excellent care.
You will be part of a team promoting a learning culture across the Trust and will be the designated person responsible for all aspects of non-medical clinical education within your designated area.

Clinical
The post holder will support clinical education across the trust, working with Heads of Clinical Education to identify training needs. You will signpost staff to existing resources or develop new educational solutions. Responsibilities include supporting students and learners, ensuring their readiness for qualification, supporting preceptorship, and increasing visibility and recruitment of pre-registration students. Specific duties include:
Additional responsibilities include supporting staff through the care certificate process, clinical apprentices, and professional development planning. Accurate record-keeping of professional development is essential.
Practice Development
This role is subject to DBS checks under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A disclosure will be required.
Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 per annum (pro-rata if part-time).
