Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is helping a West Bromwich residential care provider fill a Deputy Home Manager role for a young person with complex needs. You will support the Registered Manager, lead the care team, and ensure high safeguarding and care standards.

The role requires an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care with relevant experience in similar settings, plus strong communication and relationship-building skills with staff, professionals and families.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care plus experience in a similar role.
• Experience with children and young people presenting significant risks and complex behaviours.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with individuals, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager in leading and managing the home.
• Provide leadership, guidance and support to the care team.
• Promote positive behaviour support strategies and safeguarding practices.
• Manage incidents safely and effectively and maintain regulatory standards.
• Support care planning, risk assessments and behaviour management plans.
