Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a Deputy Home Manager in Oldbury to support a young person with complex needs in a residential setting. You will lead the care team, oversee safeguarding, and ensure high-quality, person-centered care.

The role requires NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care and experience in a similar setting. The permanent full-time position offers a salary of £29,952–£39,936 per annum with day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care with relevant experience.
• Experience in a similar role and setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Manager in leading the home.
• Provide leadership and support to the care team.
• Promote positive behaviour support strategies.
• Manage incidents safely and effectively.
• Maintain safeguarding and care practice to high standards.
• Support care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour management plans.
• Build professional relationships with the child, staff and external professionals.
• Ensure the home meets regulatory and quality standards.
