Job summary

Guardian Angel Carers Ltd is seeking a Deputy Care Manager in Eastleigh to support the Registered Manager and lead daily operations ensuring high-quality, person-centred care. The role offers leadership development and a clear pathway toward becoming a Registered Manager within the Eastleigh service.

You will oversee care plans, compliance and team performance, while fostering a compassionate culture and maintaining regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care environment with supervisory duties.
• NVQ Level 5/BA or higher.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day management of the service.
• Ensure care plans remain person-centred, accurate and responsive to changing needs.
• Monitor quality, best practice and compliance across the service.
• Support and develop CareAngels and members of the wider care team.
• Investigate concerns, complaints, safeguarding matters and service quality issues appropriately.
• Support audits, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with clients, families, healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
• Deputise for the Registered Manager when required and appropriate.
• Participate in the on-call rota as part of the senior team.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the service.
