All Depute Headteachers have leadership, self-evaluation, and pupil responsibilities, and will deputise for the Headteacher as required. They will assist in advancing the aims of Clackmannanshire Council, along with the priorities of education and the school's improvement plan.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Leadership and management of learning, teaching, and assessment.
2. Leadership and management of professional learning and development.
3. Monitoring and tracking of academic progress.
4. Managing academic transitions.
5. Reporting to parents.
6. Engagement in ERD, professional updates, and student and probationer teacher programmes.
