Job Description

Based at St Paul's RC Academy, you will work full time, 35 hours per week.

Requirements
  • You will be GTCS Registered (Secondary).
  • Proven and successful experience in leading developments (curricular and staff development), quality assurance, and a leadership role.
  • You will be required to obtain RC Church approval. See https://sces.org.uk/church-approval/ for information.
Responsibilities

You will assist in the effective leadership of the school and deputise in the absence of the Head Teacher. The detailed remit is in the attached Job Description.

The Individual

You will have a wide knowledge of curriculum development in Scotland and an up-to-date understanding of Curriculum for Excellence. You will have experience with various classes and involvement in current educational developments.

Additional qualities include evidence of professional learning, management, leadership, organisational skills, and a positive approach to young people.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the PVG Scheme, requiring scheme membership or update prior to employment.
