Job summary

Biffa Ltd is seeking an Operations Manager to lead depot teams in delivering safe, reliable waste and street cleansing services. You will ensure high customer service while meeting contract KPIs and complying with policies and health and safety rules.

The role requires managing staff, maintaining training records, and delivering timely KPI reports. Reporting to the Senior Business Manager, you will drive continuous improvement, manage financial targets, and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams and delivering services to contract KPI targets.
• Strong Health and Safety knowledge and training record maintenance.
• Ability to attend client meetings and deliver timely reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage supervisors and teams to ensure safe, reliable waste, recycling and street cleansing services.
• Maintain high customer service levels and meet contract KPIs.
• Achieve financial targets including overtime, staffing and revenue.
• Oversee staff training, inductions and job descriptions.
• Monitor operations with KPI reporting and address issues promptly.
