Job summary

Stagecoach Banbury Depot is seeking a committed Duty Manager to lead frontline driving teams, ensure service reliability and uphold safety standards. You will mentor staff, manage performance and collaborate with training to improve skills across the depot.

The role requires 40 hours weekly on a revolving shift pattern (AM/PM) Monday to Saturday, with focus on customer satisfaction and efficient depot operations in Banbury.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory/management role in a frontline service environment.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills.
• Good knowledge of employment law and road transport regulations.
• Excellent customer focus and ability to lead diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop frontline teams to achieve high standards of service.
• Oversee driver performance and implement development plans.
• Coaching and training of staff in line with company policies.
• Handle absence management, grievances and disciplinary procedures fairly.
• Foster strong relationships with drivers, managers and external stakeholders.
• Ensure safe, reliable depot operations and address issues proactively.
• Engage with local authorities and external bodies to support operations.
