Job summary

GAP Hire Solutions is seeking a General Manager to oversee a nationwide Trenching and Shoring division. You will manage a Profit Centre, lead depot operations, recruit and motivate staff, and drive equipment purchasing and customer interaction to exceed expectations.

The role requires a proven leader with experience in hire or related industries, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a managerial or operational role, preferably gained within the hire industry.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop a high-performing team who can deliver results and exceed customer's expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own Profit Centre and influence all aspects of Depot Operations, from staff recruitment to purchasing equipment and supplies.
• Lead your team to perform to the best of their abilities and drive depot performance.
• Generate new ideas to drive the depot forwards and be at the forefront of customer interaction.
