GAP Group in the Midlands is seeking a General Manager for GAP Hire Solutions. You will manage your own Profit Centre and influence all aspects of Depot Operations, from staff recruitment to purchasing equipment.

You will lead a high-performing team, drive depot growth, and engage with customers to deliver safe, reliable hire solutions across construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in managerial or operational roles within the hire industry or similar sectors.
• Knowledge of ground shoring or temporary works is highly desirable.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop a high-performing team delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own Profit Centre and influence all Depot Operations.
• Recruit, motivate and develop staff; oversee purchasing of equipment and supplies.
• Lead customer interactions and ensure safe, efficient hire solutions.
• Drive depot growth and implement ideas to improve profitability and service.
