The Apex Group in the UK is seeking a Compliance Officer - Depository and Custody Compliance to drive the compliance function and strengthen regulatory controls.

Reporting directly to the UK Head of Depositary and Custody Compliance, you will develop and implement a risk-based framework, oversee monitoring, prepare management reports, and liaise with regulators, auditors and clients to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of UK regulatory landscape and FCA expectations.
• Experience building and maintaining monitoring programmes.
• Ability to present complex information to senior management.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement the risk-based compliance framework.
• Develop and implement the risk-based compliance monitoring programme.
• Prepare and present reports on compliance and regulatory issues for senior management, including board reports.
• Respond to enquiries from regulators, auditors or clients.
• Advise senior management on regulations and policies affecting the business.
• Keep abreast of industry and regulatory developments and enforcement actions.
• Represent Compliance in meetings and new business initiatives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; liaise with auditors, regulators and clients.
• Deliver appropriate compliance training to Board members and employees.
