As a key member of the Special Care Dental service you will be the first point of contact for our vulnerable patients .
You will ensure that dental patients’ appointments are appropriately scheduled, rescheduled, or cancelled, depending on the needs of the patients.
Greeting and welcoming patients and visitors to the clinic.
Ensuring that all patients and visitors are dealt with in a professional and helpful manner using warmth and empathy.
Performing general office duties such as answering telephones, scanning and filing notes.
Undertake other duties that may occur from time to time as directed by senior management

Our Special Care Dental service requires an administrator to work at our Dental clinic
You will need to have excellent communication and IT skills and work in an organised manner so as to ensure all the administrative tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
You will work closely with the Senior Dental Nurse and clinical staff to ensure smooth running of the clinic
Scheduling, rescheduling, or cancelling appointments as needed including arranging emergency appointments for patients who have infection or pain. Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
Dealing with telephone enquires
Previous experience of working with dental software is desirable.
