Bupa Dental Care in Cambridge is seeking a friendly receptionist to welcome patients as they arrive, manage appointments, and support the smooth running of the practice. You will handle bookings, respond to queries, assist with payments for private and NHS services, and help the team ensure a calm, helpful environment from reception through the patient journey.

The hours listed include Thursdays and Fridays mornings and Saturdays, with some flexibility for coverage and team needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-focused roles.
• Strong communication skills in person and over the phone.
• Confident with IT systems to manage bookings and records.

Responsibilities

• Customer care at the heart – greeting patients in person and over the phone.
• Diary & appointment management – bookings, cancellations and rescheduling.
• Explain processes and treatment options, support payments for private vs NHS.
• Maintain accurate patient records and confidential information.
• Handle concerns professionally, aiming for a positive outcome.
• Support clinicians and assist with the patient journey from reception to treatment.
