Job summary

Dentopedia Group clinics in the UK are seeking a Dental Receptionist to join a growing private dental group. This full-time role involves front-desk operations, appointment scheduling and customer service, with weekend work. Hourly pay ranges from £13 to £15 depending on experience.

You will work with clinicians and nurses to ensure smooth daily workflow, maintain GDPR-compliant records, and contribute to patient journeys across state-of-the-art premises.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dental reception or similar front-facing role.
• Confident communicator with strong rapport-building skills.
• Confident using dental software and computer systems.
• Right to work in the UK; excellent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Manage front-desk operations and welcome patients professionally.
• Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages and online enquiries promptly.
• Book, amend and manage appointment diaries efficiently.
• Support conversion of enquiries into booked appointments.
• Process payments and complete end-of-day reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Coordinate with dentists and nurses to ensure smooth daily workflow.
• Handle patient queries and follow-ups professionally.
• Maintain a clean, professional and welcoming reception area.
• Support diary optimisation and clinic performance.
