Job summary

Dental Beauty Partners is seeking a Dental Receptionist in Bexleyheath to join our mixed practice. This full-time role (47 hours per week) involves front-desk duties, patient communication, appointment scheduling with Dentally, and payments processing, within a supportive team led by our Practice Manager.

The position offers an attractive hourly rate (£13.50–£15.50) with opportunities for development in a family-oriented practice in SE London.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Receptionist or front-of-house role in a private or mixed practice.
• Experience with customer service and patient-facing front desk duties.
• Understanding of GDPR and data governance in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality reception and administration to support patient satisfaction and practice efficiency.
• Answer calls and handle patient enquiries in a friendly, proactive manner.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage diaries for the clinical team using our software (Dentally).
• Collect and record patient payments and pursue debts per the practice policy.
• Ensure compliance with DBP Information Governance Policy and GDPR.

*Exciting Dental Receptionist Position - Dental Beauty Bexleyheath*

*Full-Time Position - 47 Hours Per Week - Hours Below*

Dental Beauty Partners are currently seeking a Dental Receptionist to join us at our lovely mixed practice, Dental Beauty Bexleyheath. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and family-orientated practice team in the SE London area.

You will be joining a fantastic group of clinicians and wider support staff, led by our Partner Dr. Vivek Shah and Practice Manager Lauren Crabb, who all work together in harmony to deliver a brilliant patient journey. The practice is very accessible via public transport, only a 5 minute walk to Bexleyheath station and with plenty of parking nearby.

Working pattern

• Monday: 8AM-7:30PM
• Tuesday: 8AM-4:45PM
• Wednesday: 8AM-4:45PM
• Thursday: 8AM-7:30PM
• Friday: 8AM-3:45PM
• Alternate Saturdays: 8AM-1PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a high-quality reception and administration service to ensure patient satisfaction & maximum contribution to practice efficiency
• Answering the telephone and dealing with patient enquiries in a positive, efficient and friendly manner, with a focus on going the extra mile
• Schedule patient appointments in accordance & effectively managing the diaries of our clinical team; all through our software system, Dentally
• Collect and record patient payments and pursue any debts in accordance with the practice payments policy
• To ensure compliances with DBP Information Governance Policy and GDPR

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Ideally 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Receptionist, within a private or mixed practice
• If no Dentistry experience, then a background within a front of house, customer service or medical coordinator role
• Dentally software experience is preferred but not essential
• Ensuring CQC requirements are met at all times
• Experience in providing exceptional patient care/customer service
