Job summary

Smart Dental Care is seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist for Deepdale Dental Centre in Preston. The role combines front-of-house administration with patient care coordination, initially 16 hours per week on Monday and Friday. There is potential for additional hours as the practice grows.

You will welcome patients, manage appointments, recalls, and communication with the dental team, delivering a friendly, organised and professional patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in dental reception or patient coordination.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence using dental software and managing appointments.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide front-of-house service.
• Coordinate appointments, enquiries and follow-ups.
• Manage diaries, recalls and surgery availability.
• Support patients throughout their treatment journey.
• Handle calls, emails, payments and patient records.
